The Client
The University of Suffolk Students’ Union (UOS SU) is a student-led organisation based in Ipswich, supporting and representing students throughout their university experience.
The Challenge
NK Marketing worked with UOS SU across two consecutive years, providing both strategic support and hands-on delivery at key moments.
In 2024, the focus was on embedding quickly into the team, providing leadership and communications expertise during a period of change, and ensuring Freshers Week was delivered confidently and effectively.
In 2025, support evolved into a project management role, overseeing the coordination of Freshers Week activity to ensure events ran smoothly, aligned with campaign goals and consistently reflected the SU’s role as a key support system for students.
Our Approach
In summer 2024, the University of Suffolk Students’ Union faced a period of transition, with changes to both its marketing role and leadership team, while needing to deliver Freshers Week - its largest and most high-profile campaign of the year.
Following the success of the 2024 campaign, NK Marketing was invited back in 2025 to support the project management of Freshers Week, ensuring a complex programme of events ran smoothly, remained aligned with campaign objectives and delivered a positive, joined-up experience for students.
